A ceremony of singing partnership agreements between the university district Moulay Ismail, the Moroccan Association of Sports Journalists, the Association of Women Achievements and Values, and the Sports Federation of Yacoub El Mansour for Sport for All, was held yesterday 20th January 2022 in rabat .
These agreements were signed by the Director of the University’s Campus Mr. Abdelhamid Sahban, the president of the Moroccan Sports Journalists Association Mr. Hamid Yahya, the President of the Women, Achievements and Values Association, Ms.Nazha Bidouan and The President of the Yacoub Al Mansour Sports Federation for Sports for All Association Mr.Abdel Majeed Al Majdoun . In the presence of the director of the National Office for Social and Cultural Works Mr. Noureddine Tohamy and members of the Directorate Office of the Royal Moroccan University of Sport for All along side members of the three associations
The partnership agreement between the university district Molay ismail and the Moroccan Association of Sports Journalists, defines a framework for partnership and cooperation between the two parties in order to raise the sense of sports among male and female students living in the university district Moulay Ismail, and to make the district’s space a basis for crystallizing this goal by organizing a number of activities, initiatives and stations related to defining and sensitizing the importance of sports as an enabling element for sustainable development.
In this regard, the Moroccan Association of Sports Journalists pledged to develop an action plan with the aim of developing sports culture among female and male students living in the university district and raising the level of regular sports practice as well as supporting organized sports in the district through media coverage of sports activities organized in the university district, and the various activities that it participates in, foremost of which is the Throne Cup tournament for university districts in mini-football and basketball (males and females) organized by the Royal University for University Sports. In addition to all of the above the Moroccan Sports Journlaist Association will be organizing trainings in journalistic work in general and sports press coverage in particular for students interested in this field.
In return, the University’s medical administration undertook to put the available logistical means and human resources at the disposal of the Association and to supervise the facilitation of communication and cooperation of the Association with the student initiative that is active in the university district as an effective propositional force, in order to make the process of female and male students regular engagement in sports a success and to make it a daily practice , given its significant role in the mental and psychological well being of the resident student.
By her turn , the Olympic champion, Nazha Bidouane, the president of the Women’s Association, gave a speech about the achievements and values that the launch of the women’s race that was organized on the occasion of the signing ceremony holds
