An intense match took place today in the education city stadium between the atlas lions and la Roja .
After outstanding efforts by their goalkeeper yassine bounou, the atlas lions scored their winning final goal at the third penalty by Ashraf hakimi
The first goal that lead Morocco towards this phenomenal win was scored at the first penalty by Abdelhamid Sabiri followed by the second penalty scored by hakim ziyach which was also a successful goal that secured Morocco’s victory .
This breath taking win came after a stressing match that was nearly seen as a fail for Morocco .
Morocco now still takes the lead in Group F and qualifies to the quarter finals of Qatar’s 2022 world cup .
The atlas lions will be facing Portugal on Saturday at 4 pm .
